Heartbeat Recording Studio is Zanzibar’s first private professional recording studio dedicated to recording local and visiting artists. Since the studio started operating at the end of 2002, many Zanzibar artists have released songs which have garnered attention from national radio:- most notably ninety-year old Bi Kidude’s album, Machozi ya Huba, from which the track Beru became a national superhit, popular with people of all ages.
